Buddy Rich - Collector's Edition DVD
This 2-disc set is a compilation of the emmy Award-winning Channel One Suite DVD and The Lost West Side Story Tapes
Lost for over a decade, and damaged in a fire, the tapes were recovered and have been digitally restored. Preserving a historical moment in jazz history, this edition reunites these two sets exactly as they were recorded in 1985.
The performance was among the first ever recorded in Surround Sound, and the original tracks have been reconstructed in Dolby and DTS Surround Formats for the DVD's.
The end result is a bird's eye view of Buddy and the Buddy Rich band at the climax of a legendary carreer. Also included are behind the scenes footage of Buddy from the Johnny Carson Show and other rare photo's.

Buddy Rich - At the Top DVD
Taped in February 1973 at a nightclub in Rochester, New York, the 65-minute performance reveals a virtuoso who was still at the top
of his game at age 55. Rich's power, dynamics, and sheer musicianship leave little doubt that he was the leader of his big band in much more than name only.
